The District has contracted with Best Trash, LLC (“Best Trash”) to operate the residential solid waste, residential recycling, and commercial solid waste collection services for the District (collectively “Garbage Service”) beginning Monday, March 4, 2019.
- For Garbage Service inquiries, missed garbage pick-ups, replacement cart requests, and concierge service program information please call Best Trash at (281) 313-2378 or email customerservice@besttrashtexas.com.
- For Billing Inquiries regarding Garbage Service, please call the District’s Operator (the City of Richmond) at (281) 342-5456.
- Welcome Letter
- Best Trash will replace any carts that are defective or otherwise become unusable due to normal wear and tear. Lost or stolen trash carts can be replaced for $75.00 plus tax, recycling carts $20.00, by calling Best Trash.

Recycling: Monday starts at 7:00 AM
Best Trash Collection Service Holiday Schedule
Garbage Service collection days that fall on the following holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day Christmas Day and New Year’s Day) will be collected on the next regularly scheduled collection day.
Below please find the holiday schedule for 2019:
Memorial Day – May 27, 2019
Services will run on the next regularly scheduled collection day, Thursday, May 30, 2019.
Independence Day – July 4, 2019
Services will run on the next regularly scheduled collection day, Monday, May 8, 2019.
Labor Day – September 2, 2019
Services will run on the next regularly scheduled collection day, Thursday, September 5, 2019.
Thanksgiving Day – November 28, 2019
Services will run on the next regularly scheduled collection day, Monday, December 2, 2019.
Christmas Day – December 25, 2019
Services will run as regularly scheduled. There will be no interruption of service due to the holiday.
New Year’s Day – January 1, 2020
Services will run as regularly scheduled. There will be no interruption of service due to the holiday.
