Fort Bend County Municipal Utility District No. 140 will hold a public hearing on its proposed 2025 tax rate.

The District is proposing a decrease in the total tax rate from $0.84 to $0.81 per $100 of valuation (-3.58%). However, due to a rise in the average home’s appraised value, the tax bill on an average homestead is projected to increase by $98.23 (3.37%) compared to last year.

River’s Edge Residents – Party Barn Rental Information

Fort Bend County Municipal Utility District #140 has become aware that an alligator has been sighted in our lakes. Residents are urged to exercise extra caution with children and pets near the water’s edge.

The District wishes to remind all citizens that our community is situated near the scenic Brazos River with its abundance of natural wildlife, please be especially mindful when using the Nature Trail.
