Notice of Future Water and Sewer Operations Changes

Dear Residents,

Fort Bend County MUD No. 140 (the “District”) has entered into an agreement with Municipal Operations and Consulting, Inc. (the “Operator”) to provide water and sanitary sewer operations.

The District, Operator and the City of Richmond are working to ensure that the transition is seamless and that the level of service experienced by the District’s residents is continued.

Additional information regarding this transition is forthcoming. Please be alert to these additional notices to ensure that water and sewer bill payments are remitted to the correct location and that the necessary contact information is received for any future service calls that would have previously been addressed by the City of Richmond.

New Play Structure is Now Open

Fort Bend County Municipal Utility District No. 140 has recently finished the installation of a new play structure at the sports complex ahead of the estimated January 31, 2022 timeline. The new play structure is now open and ready for the enjoyment of the community.

Nature Trail Open to the Public

Fort Bend County Municipal Utility District No. 140 has recently finished phase 1 of the nature trail renovation project (natural surface trail). The nature trail is open for the enjoyment of District residents. The District will continue working on obtaining grant funding for further improvements such as signage, benches, and waste receptacles (as depicted in the preliminary master plan below) which will be accessible to all.
